Gluon participates in the DIVE IN project that focuses on the role of youth work in science and emphasizes the importance of their engagement and support in the scientific community.
In our rapidly evolving world, science is vital for understanding and addressing our complex challenges. The youth, as the future creators of our society, are pivotal in shaping this future. Their unique perspectives, creativity, and technological connections open new possibilities for scientific advancement and innovation. Nurturing curiosity, activating participation and building resilience are a few of the crucial aspects we need to address when working with our young people and we see, that we can Dive into this together.
Together with our partners we developed a workbook which serves as a key tool for implementing and introducing the concept of citizens science into the practice of youth work and education. It contains all the key elements, from the theoretical concept to practical exercises and advice on how to systematically use citizens science in practice.
With the workbook, we want to ensure sustainability, which will open the door to more active stakeholders in the sector, to more active citizenship and to greater participation of young people in various processes.
