- Focus
- Data captation // Data visualisation / Big Data
Our immediate environment can tell us a lot. During this workshop, the students record factors such as humidity and CO2 levels using sensors. They visualise these data and then offer prototype solutions to urban challenges. Depending on the technology chosen, we will emphasis on data captation or data visualisation.
For this workshop, you can chose between the following technologies:
Data captation via sensors
The students capture data with various sensors (such as Raspberry Pi and a temperature and humidity sensor). Using these collected data, they learn to think critically about their immediate environment and design creative digital solutions to possible problems.
Data visualisation and Big Data
The students learn to visualize, analyse and interpret data by using several tools. They discover how visualisation tools can be used for differents means.
