Hydrophone // Internet of Things

Water is life. All living creature need water to survive. Not only the human body exists for 60 percent out of water, the source is also essential for the production of food, clothes, computers and the transportation of our waste flow, which causes major pollution. And yet we don’t have a sustainable approach toward this basic product. How do we make people aware of this and which cool digital tools can help with this?

For this workshop, you can chose between the following technologies:

Hydrophone

Our rivers and the underwater life suffer from significant noise pollution. We make use of hydrophones to map this pollution and to visualise these data in an attractive way that stimulates reflection.

Internet of Things

Never leave your plants thirsty anymore! We code a system that through sensors mesures temperature and humidity and waters plants on time.
