Are you an artist based in Flanders or Brussels working with digital technology? Then register now for this call and you may be able to participate in ITF world, Imec’s 2-day flagship event on 16 and 17 May in Antwerp. The primary purpose of this call is to introduce artists to Imec’s research and various technologies ahead of Gluon’s upcoming residencies. Selected artists can participate in a thematic guided tour focused on health tech.
Who is this call for?
An artist based in Flanders or in Brussels, can apply for this call. Preference will be given to artists working interdisciplinary and/or interested in digital technology.

ITF World, is imec’s 2-day flagship event formerly known as Future Summits, which welcomes 2,000 (inter)national participants. During ITF, you will discover how imec’s expertise is a powerful driver for the digital transformation of our economy and society, more specifically in core sectors such as Energy, Health, Mobility and Sustainable Industry.
About ITF World:
- will take place on 16 and 17 May 2023 in Antwerp
- welcomes more than 2,000 participants from around the world ranging from industry experts and business leaders to policymakers, futurists, technology gurus, entrepreneurs from start-ups to scale-ups, analysts and investors
- includes several inspiring parallel lectures within 4 thematic breakouts: energy, health, mobility and sustainable industries
- during the conference there will be the opportunity to visit the interactive demo floor with numerous ground-breaking interactive technology demos.

How to apply & selection process?
You can submit a proposal by 30/04/23 using the online form. An application includes the following information:
- CV (pdf, max 100 mb)
- Motivation (200 characters)
- Selection of technologies
Gluon & Imec will make a selection based on the following criteria:
- Digital technology expertise & interdisciplinary collaborations
- Motivation to address societal challenges
The selection will be announced by 05/05/2023. Rejected applications will receive a negative decision.
