- Focus
- Modern biotechnology / Virtual Reality / 3D printing
The world around us seems increasingly ‘programmable’, not only digitally but also biologically. During Hack Darwin Lab II, from 11 April to 15 April 2022, we challenge you to look at the present and the future differently. Using simple tools, you sketch a utopian and/or distopian image of the future. The resulting doom and dream scenarios take the form of a virtual experience, PlugNPlay prototype, performance/storytelling, magazine, etc. In developing your speculative project, you make use of 3D printers, laser cutters, Virtual Reality and more. You will be guided by artists, IT experts and students. Especially for this lab, we will collaborate with the artist duo who developed the project Algae Diplomacy. The results will later be exhibited in Brussels and during festivals.
This PlugNPlay Lab takes place in the framework of Studiotopia and is supported by Digital Belgium Skills Fund.
