Open call for young creatives

Gluon launched an open call for young artists. Meet our three winners! They will take over the boat from August to December.

*The first project took place on the boat as planned. Due to an unforeseen incident on the boat, Jonas and Zoë’s art projects continue on land.

Colectiva Maleza

An ecofeminist collective exploring alternative ways of thinking and storytelling. Their work grows from urgent questions that weave through entangled networks of care, resistance, and collective knowledge, like mycelium beneath our feet.

Zoë Brennan

Artist, designer, and community organiser. Zoë’s work unfolds in public spaces, often involving people and shaped by the local environment. She creates spaces to re-see, re-imagine, and re-build our shared landscapes through collective creativity.

Jonas Van Geel

A Belgian artist whose practice is rooted in travel, object research, and spatial interventions. His sculptures and installations often emerge from everyday technical aesthetics, shaped by journeys where objects collect physical and narrative traces along the way.
