Want to develop your own virtual reality game? Make a lamp you can control from your phone? Learn to 3D print and laser cut your own designs?
Gluon will shortly be launching its STARTS Academy, an afterschool series of workshops for the next generation of coders and makers. The Gluon STARTS Academy welcomes everyone, regardless of skill level, who wants to bring their most creative ideas to life. These workshops aren’t just for engineers and inventors, but also for artists and everyone in between.
The Gluon STARTS Academy will be open every Wednesday afternoon. You’ll work on your own projects and discover new techniques step by step. This way you can master essential skills and solve problems with creative solutions. The workshops are hands-on and will cover topics such as digital arts, 3D printing, laser cutting, Arduino, wearables, Internet of Things, virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. No prior knowledge is required!
Age: 14-18 years old
Dates: Workshops will be offered from 2 to 5 pm on Wednesdays in the Fablab Brussels in Anderlecht, Nijverheidskaai 170. Check this page or our Facebook for announcements of future workshops.
