Are you aged between 14 and 18 years old? Are you curious about new technologies like programming, laser cutting and 3D printing, though you may not know that much about it yet? During the Autumn Lab you will work on your own project of the future.
Like Urban Artists, we hack the city. What influence do new technologies have on the way we live together? What is the impact of cars driving without drivers, super fast transportation or personal digital assistants whispering your cycling route in the ear?
In the Erasmus Fablab Brussels you turn, together with technologists and artists, open data and measurements into portable objects, interactive applications, or futuristic measuring devices. How can we transform data into a visual or a 3D installation? How can we use the sounds of the city to make a critical piece of music? These are just a few examples … each of you conceptualizes and designs their own project.
Your project will be shown at the expo ‘Generation Z’ in BOZAR from the 19th of November till the 3rd of December 2017.
-You can register by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
-The registration fee is € 75 for the whole week (including all materials and Fablab. You will also get to take your prototype home!).
-Bring a friend and join the Lab free of charge!
-No specific prior knowledge is required.
